Andrew Belden is Meister Consultants Group’s Director of State and City Programs. His current work portfolio includes renewable energy market research and municipal clean energy policy development. He serves as the coordinator for the City of Boston’s Solar City partnership under the Solar America Initiative and developed a successful $1.3 million solar evacuation route strategy for Boston. Mr. Belden also worked with the City of New Bedford to develop a ten-site, multi-megawatt solar PV procurement strategy. He has successfully supported the implementation of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategies for Boston, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island.
Prior to working for MCG, he held positions at the Water Resources Agency and the State of Delaware’s Green Energy Fund. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware’s Energy and Environmental Policy master’s program and holds a B.A. degree from Cornell University in biological sciences.
